Results Gym – Terms of Use Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) set out the conditions of membership at Results Gym (“the Gym”). By purchasing a membership and/or using the Gym facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Results Gym reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The most current version will be made available to members via their TeamUp account.
1. General Conduct
1.1 Members must conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner at all times.
1.2 The Gym operates as a shared training environment. Members must not engage in behaviour that may endanger, intimidate, or inconvenience others.
1.3 The Gym reserves the right to refuse entry, suspend access, or terminate membership where conduct is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or in breach of this Agreement.
2. Care of Facilities and Equipment
2.1 Members must return all equipment to its designated area immediately after use.
2.2 Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose and in a safe manner.
2.3 Any damage, malfunction, or safety concern must be reported to Gym management without delay.
2.4 Members may be held liable for damage caused through deliberate misuse, negligence, or reckless behaviour.
2.5 The Gym must be left in a tidy condition at all times.
3. Class Bookings
3.1 Classes are considered a benefit of membership. The Gym is under no obligation to provide or continue any class offering.
3.2 Classes may be cancelled at short notice in cases of low attendance or unforeseen circumstances. Any associated fees or credits will be refunded where applicable.
3.3 Members must book classes through the TeamUp app prior to attending.
3.4 Repeated late cancellations, no-shows, or abuse of the booking system may result in suspension of class booking privileges for a period determined by Gym management.
4. Dogs on Premises
4.1 Dogs may be permitted on the premises at the discretion of Gym management.
4.2 Members bringing dogs onto the premises accept full responsibility for their behaviour and supervision at all times.
4.3 Any damage, injury, disruption, or mess caused by a dog is the sole responsibility of the member.
4.4 The Gym reserves the right to prohibit specific dogs or dogs generally from the premises at any time without prior notice.
5. Access and Security
5.1 Access codes are issued to individual members and remain the property of the Gym.
5.2 Access codes must not be shared under any circumstances.
5.3 Members must use their own designated access code when entering the Gym.
5.4 Members must not allow unauthorised persons to enter the premises.
5.5 Breach of access or security rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership without refund.
6. Guest Policy
6.1 Guests may only access the Gym after completing the required single-session form and paying the applicable fee.
6.2 Members are responsible for the conduct and actions of any guests they bring onto the premises.
6.3 The Gym reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest.
7. Food & Drink – Honesty Policy
7.1 Food and drink provided by the Gym operate on a self-service honesty basis.
7.2 Payment must be made at the time items are taken.
7.3 Credit, deferred payment, or tabs are not permitted.
7.4 Failure to pay for items taken may result in suspension or termination of membership.
8. Membership, Payments & Cancellation
8.1 Membership fees are payable in advance via Direct Debit or another agreed payment method.
8.2 Membership cancellations require a minimum of 30 days’ written notice prior to the next billing date, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Gym management.
8.3 Cancellation requests must be submitted via email or through the official membership management system.
8.4 If a member cancels their Direct Debit without providing the required notice period:
- Outstanding fees for the notice period remain payable.
- Any pre-booked classes will be cancelled.
- Access to the Gym may be restricted or suspended until the balance is settled.
8.5 Failure to make payment may result in restricted access, cancellation of bookings, suspension of membership, or referral for debt recovery.
8.6 Concession or discounted memberships are granted at the discretion of management and require valid proof of eligibility.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Members use the Gym facilities entirely at their own risk.
9.2 The Gym shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury resulting from improper use of equipment.
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
- Injuries caused by other members or guests.
9.3 Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability for death or personal injury resulting from the Gym’s negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Termination
10.1 The Gym reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership immediately, without refund, in cases of serious breach of these Terms.
10.2 Reinstatement of membership following termination is at the sole discretion of Gym management.
11. Health & Fitness to Train
11.1 By using the Gym facilities, members confirm that they are physically able to undertake exercise and training activities.
11.2 Members are responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to participate in physical activity. If a member has any medical condition, injury, or concern that may affect their ability to exercise safely, they should seek advice from a qualified medical professional before using the Gym.
11.3 Members must immediately stop exercising and seek appropriate assistance if they feel unwell, dizzy, faint, or experience pain during training.
11.4 The Gym and its staff are not responsible for monitoring the health condition of members during training.
12. Unstaffed Hours & 24/7 Access
12.1 Members acknowledge that the Gym may operate during periods where no staff are present on site.
12.2 During unstaffed hours, members train entirely at their own risk and must exercise additional caution when using equipment or training alone.
12.3 Members must not attempt exercises or use equipment beyond their level of competence or in a manner that may endanger themselves or others.
12.4 In the event of an emergency, members should contact the appropriate emergency services immediately.
12.5 Members are responsible for ensuring the premises are secure when entering or leaving during unstaffed hours.
13. CCTV & Monitoring
13.1 CCTV is in operation throughout the Gym premises for the purposes of safety, security, and protection of members and property.
13.2 CCTV footage may be reviewed by Gym management in the event of accidents, incidents, suspected misconduct, or breaches of these Terms.
13.3 By entering the premises, members consent to being recorded by CCTV.
13.4 CCTV footage will be handled and stored in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.
14. Equipment Use & Training Practices
14.1 Members must use equipment safely and in accordance with its intended purpose.
14.2 Members must ensure that equipment such as barbells, plates, dumbbells, and other training tools are controlled at all times and not dropped or misused in a manner that may damage equipment or flooring, except where such use is appropriate for the equipment and training style.
14.3 The use of chalk, lifting straps, belts, and other training accessories is permitted where appropriate; however, members must clean up any chalk residue or mess created during training.
14.4 Members must wipe down benches and equipment after use if they become excessively sweaty or dirty.
14.5 Gym management reserves the right to restrict or prohibit certain equipment use if it is deemed unsafe or likely to cause damage to facilities.
15. Filming, Photography & Social Media
15.1 Filming or photography within the Gym is permitted provided it does not disrupt other members or interfere with normal gym operations.
15.2 Members must respect the privacy of others. No member may deliberately film, photograph, or record another member without their consent.
15.3 Equipment or training areas must not be monopolised for the purpose of filming content.
15.4 Gym management reserves the right to request that filming stop at any time if it is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
15.5 Content filmed within the Gym must not portray the Gym, its staff, or its members in a defamatory, misleading, or harmful manner.
